Our Vision

We seek to be a community of missionary-disciples that spread the message of reconciliation so that our friends, neighbors, communities, and beyond, can experience the goodness, joy, and peace that comes from life with God.

Our Mission

We exist to communicate the Gospel and develop disciples so that all people can experience life with God

The Gospel is the good news about what God has done to save and reconcile people to himself. The death of Jesus Christ as atoning sacrifice for sinners and his resurrection as vindication of his sacrifice is the solution for the evil that we see in our hearts and throughout the world. In the Gospel, we see God’s righteous standards as well as his love for those who have gone astray. This describes God’s character and action on our behalf.
God’s initial and ongoing transformation of the human heart and restoration of the broken relationship between people and himself through the message of the Gospel proclaimed.
Through the new birth and regeneration of the Holy Spirit, the Christian is made a new creation. At our fundamental core we are brought from death to life. Christ restores us to God and each other through the Gospel.

In Christ, God has reconciled us with himself so that we can both see and enjoy his love, grace, and mercy. Our response to this is love and adoration that expresses itself in our affections, thoughts, words, and actions. MATTHEW 22:38 I ROMANS 12:1 I JOHN 4:24 I PHILIPPIANS 4:9-11
In Christ we have collectively received mercy from God and been adopted into his family. Because of his love and desire to bear our burdens, we now relate to one another in love and burden-bearing. That which binds us together is the common experience of the grace of Christ. EPHESIANS 2:11-22 I ACTS 2:42-27 I 1 TIMOTHY 5:1-2 I GALATIANS 6:2
The love and acceptance we have received in the Gospel propels us to show kindness to others and share the message that has changed us. We display the grace of God through our lives and tell about that grace of God through our words. MATTHEW 28:16-20 I 2 CORINTHIANS 5-20 I PHILIPPIANS 1:3-5 I COLOSSIANS 4:4-6

Our Values

We want our culture and heartbeat to embody these things at Reconcile.

God has given the church his word, the bible to guide how the church should think and live. We want to honor God by focusing on the centrality of the bible in all that we do.
God has given the church his own Spirit. The Holy Spirit guides and empowers the church to love God, each other and the world. We are going to seek the guidance and power of the Holy Spirit by submitting all things to him through prayer

Jesus loves people from all cultures and places. We want to be a community that reflects the diversity of the people that Jesus loves. Our unity in the midst of diversity is evidence that we are joined together by Jesus.
Jesus came not to be served but to serve. We want to be a church that serves our community. We seek to imitate Jesus by serving others to show them his nature.

Our Beliefs

The Nicene Creed

WE BELIEVE in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen.

We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father. Through him all things were made.

For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit he became incarnate from the Virgin Mary, and was made man.

For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered death and was buried. On the third day he rose again in accordance with the Scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.

He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. With the Father and the Son he is worshiped and glorified. He has spoken through the Prophets. We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come.

We also affirm the Gospel Coalition Confession of Faith and the Baptist Faith and Message

Loving God. Loving People.
